Photo by Laura Brazak Kim Fetters has been singing professionally for 10 years. Following her 5 year stint on the road touring with her cover band "Crush," she returned to her hometown of Syracuse, NY in the fall of 1992. Upon returning Kim was hired as lead vocalist in the local band "Taboo." While in "Taboo," Kim recorded a full length Christmas CD titled, "Let It Snow!" Following it's release, she was invited by Blue Wave Record's President Greg Spencer to perform two of the songs at Syracuse's Landmark Theater for the "Here Comes Another Christmas" Christmas concert; televised annually.

Kim's recognition as one of Syracuse's most talented vocalists resulted in numerous studio sessions for national and local songwriters. As a result, her vocals appeared on advertising jingles and on CD's from local recording artists, Rosevelt Dean ("I Don't Wanna Leave You") and Joe Whiting ("Trouble On The Line.") She also performed studio demos with songwriter Doug James (1991 BMI song of the year "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You.")

Kim with Benny Mardones In the fall of 1996 Kim was contacted by national recording artist, Benny Mardones to perform lead and back-up vocals in his December 26th homecoming concert at the Landmark Theater. Mardones and Fetters "brought down the house" at the Landmark show and other shows with their duet renditions of "I Miss You Most At Christmastime," and "It's All In The Game." Mardones boasted later in an interview, "Kim Fetters is the best female singer I've ever had in a band in my life...She deserves a career."

Kim has recently finished her debut pop CD titled "In My Wildest Dreams" (independent) with producer Mark Doyle. The material was constructed from an impressive line up of songwriters such as; Doug James, David Werner, Eric Kaz, Chalie Midnight, Junior Vasquez, John Annessi, Mark Doyle, Richard Mendelson and others. The record also features Kim's first songwriting collaboration.

Since the album's release, it has received rave reviews in the Syracuse area newspapers and on local television and radio broadcasts. Within weeks of it's release, "In My Wildest Dreams" debuted on the Syracuse Newtimes monthly Top 5 Local Album sales Chart at #2. The following issue revealed that her album had taken over the #1 position....after only being released 6 weeks. At Kim's CD release party, she and her six piece band packed a popular nightclub with over 400 people. Since then, Fetters has performed at the Great New York State Fair, and as the opening act for Benny Mardones. Solo performances have also included radio shows, record store appearances, singing the National Anthem at Syracuse sporting events.

Kim has recorded the title track for the compilation CD entitled "Be The One To Make A Wish Come True." Kim was contacted by local bassist Edgar Pagan to perform the track. "We tried to get Gloria Estefan but she was not available," said Pagan. Other artists on the CD include Bruce Hornsby, Brenda Russell, The Yellow Jackets and others.

Kim sings for President Bill Clinton In the summer of 1999, Kim was asked to perform the National Anthem for President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Annual New York State Comptroller's Luncheon at the New York State Fairground's Empire Room.

Currently, Kim is performing with fellow Benny Mardones and the Hurricanes band mate Andy Rudy in various venues around the Syracuse area.
